Thomas Arthur "Tom" McClone, age 83, of Bonduel, passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay on Monday February 16, 2026, surrounded by his loving family at his side. Tom was born on January 11, 1943, in Shawano, the son of the late Floyd and Hilda (Meyer) McClone. He grew up on the family farm and enjoyed snowmobiling. Tom attended elementary school at White Clay Lake Church and graduated from Bonduel High School in 1960. He worked at Brillion Iron Works while in high school and moved to Truck Equipment after. Following high school, Tom went on to attend vocational school in Green Bay. In 1964, he married his high school sweetheart Lois M. Radloff. Together the couple had four wonderful boys, Jerry, Mark, Paul and David.
He worked at Packerland Packing and Transport for about 32 years. During that time Tom drove truck and then moved into dispatch eventually becoming Vice President of transportation where he worked hard to build up the company. In 1996, he went to work for American Foods Group. Tom started the trucking company American Service Lines from the ground up and was the president from when he started until his retirement in 2017. He made a huge impact on many peoples lives and truckers respected him for everything that he did; he made many friends throughout his work life.
In Tom's free time, he enjoyed elk and deer hunting, watching and being able to travel to NASCAR races, going to toy shows and watching RFD TV. He loved attending concerts and listening to country music, especially George Strait, Allan Jackson, Eric Church and Reba McEntire. Farming was in Tom's blood, every morning he would be checking markets and printing off articles of things happening in the farming world. He never missed an opportunity to go salmon fishing on Lake Michigan and especially to Louisiana to go blue marlin fishing with his good friend, Chub. They always had an authentic shrimp boil after. He was an avid coupon bargainer when he went shopping and always shared deals with everyone around him.
After retirement, Tom was able to enjoy the little things in life like watching his grandchildren's personal endeavors and spending quality time with his family during the holidays.
Tom is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lois; sons, Jerry (Beth) McClone, Mark (Jackie) McClone and Paul (Kim) McClone; grandchildren, Courtney, Heather, Reba, Race, Brooke, Josh, Mandi, Ethan and Tyler; seven great-grandchildren; and many beloved step grandchildren. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends, especially Dan "Boone" Folkman, his partner in crime and Toby Borntreger, long time employee of the farm.
Tom is preceded in death by his son, David McClone; and parents, Floyd and Hilda McClone.
A funeral service for Tom will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday February 28, 2026, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel with Rev. Ryan Fehrman officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday February 27, 2026, at 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm then again at the church on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of service. Burial will be held at the church cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the 5th floor and ICU staff at St. Mary's Hospital for the wonderful care that Tom received.
