Obituary

Thomas F. Wagner, age 71 of the Town of Wescott, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 29, 1942 in Hartford, he was the son of the late George and Elizabeth (Kreilkamp) Wagner. Thomas lived in the Shawano area since 1972 where he owned and operated Thomas Wagner Roofing and Remodeling. On August 14, 2000 he was united in marriage to Rhonda (nee Knuth) Bunke in the Town of Wescott. Thomas enjoyed listening to country music especially his favorites, George Jones, Willie Nelson and Elvis Presley. He also enjoyed going out to eat at the Spinning Wheel, visiting the local casinos and his many trips to Jamaica prior to his stroke in 2007. Thomas is survived by: his wife, Rhonda; 2 daughters, Debbie Wagner of Columbus, OH, Julie (Kelly Klein) Mulder of Green Bay; a grandson, Nick Mulder of Green Bay; 4 siblings, Robert Wagner of Hartford, Janet (Doug) Pfister of Lake Tomahawk, Carol Hose of Juneau, Susan (Robert) Welsch of Beaver Dam; and the mother of his children, Kathleen (John) Peterson of Green Bay. He is further survived by: his mother-in-law, Emily Knuth; a sister-in-law, Lori (Steve Erbrecht) Knuth of Shawano; a brother-in-law, William (Cookie) Knuth of Marinette; many nieces and nephews; and his special four legged friend and pal, Misty. Thomas was preceded in death by: his parents, George and Elizabeth Wagner; an infant brother, Robert James Wagner; father-in-law, William R. Knuth; sister-in-law, JoAnn Wagner; and a brother-in-law, John Hose. In honor of Tom's wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date. Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano is assisting the family with the arrangements.
