Thomas Burton Weaver, Jr., age 72, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022. He was born on January 20, 1950, to Winnie (Keir) Weaver and the late Thomas Burton Weaver, Sr. in Chicago. In 1970, Thomas was united in marriage to Diane C. Campbell on September 4, 1970.  She preceded him in death in 2007. In 1968, Thomas enlisted in the United States Army.  He proudly served his country in Vietnam. After his service, Thomas worked in an auto shop; he loved being a mechanic! He was also an avid hunter, fisherman, and sports fan. More than anything, Thomas loved spending time with his family, especially the grandkids and his great-granddaughter. His family and friends will remember fondly his skilled storytelling.

He is survived by his sons, Thomas (Keri) Weaver III and John (Nikki) Weaver; four grandchildren, Kitana, Blake, Ethan and Eliana; his great-granddaughter, Aniyah; his mother, Winnie Weaver; and sister, Pat Neville.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Diane, after 37 years of marriage, and his father.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano from 9:00-10:00 am with military rites conducted by Shawano AMVETS post #10.
