Timothy J. Hughes, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Friday November 3, 2023, at his home in Cecil. Timothy was born on November 30, 1962, in Shawano to the late James and Barbara (Abernathy) Hughes. He had a long career at Worldwide Signs. Timothy's skills at shooting darts were to be considered at the professional level. He loved playing a good round of golf and playing poker with his family. Timothy was a well-known socialite. He had endless stories to share and could light up any room with his humor. Timothy was an avid sports watcher including the Packers, Brewers, Badgers, and when his grandchildren played sports. He also always made time to watch Jeopardy. Timothy will truly be missed by his wonderful family and the many friends he made along the way.

Timothy is survived by his children, Jenilee Hughes and Joshua (Lisa) Hughes; grandchildren, Tyler, Ava, Myles, Lila and Theodore; beloved kitty, Kiki; siblings, Julie (Scott Hermsen) Moesch and Bret (Terri) Hughes; and nieces and nephews, Derek (Brittany), Ryan (Ashley), Greg (Ashley), Alisha (Jon), Chad (Jess) and Chelsea (Kyle).

Timothy is preceded in death by his parents, James and Barbara; sister, Debbie LaRock; and brother-in-law, Duke Moesch, Jr.

A funeral service for Timothy will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday November 9, 2023, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday starting at 9:00 am and continuing until the time of service.
