Obituary

Tracy L. (Reinke) Winter, age 62, of Gresham, passed away Tuesday morning August 11, 2026, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer with her husband and daughter at her side.

Tracy was born in Shawano on September 14, 1963, the daughter of the Sherry (Thorson) Reinke and the late Charles Reinke. She was baptized and confirmed at St. James Lutheran Church and attended St. James Lutheran School. Tracy graduated in 1982, after high school Tracy got her license in Cosmetology.

Tracy was united in marriage to Dave “Dudley” Winter on July 23, 2016. Their love of baseball took them to different stadiums. She was an avid Badger, Brewer and Packer Fan. Her favorite band was Aerosmith. Tracy attended several Aerosmith concerts; one in Alpine Valley with her daughter, Amanda, and one in Las Vegas with her daughter Ashley. Tracy also went on an Alaskan Cruise with her best friend, Merrie Ziemer.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 10 years, Dave of Gresham; daughter, Amanda (special friend, Jason) Boivin and her children, Makayla (fiancé, Reid) Stoddart, Thomas (special friend, Alli) Boivin, Maya Boivin and Teagan Boivin; daughter, Ashley Olson and her children, Triston (special friend, Kaila) Olson and Tora Olson; and son, Charles (Leanna) Cartwright and their son, Mikey Cartwright. She is also survived by her mother, Sherry Reinke; sister, Tammy Reinke; brother, Matthew (fiancé, Lori) Reinke; mother-in-law, Kathy Dobratz; brother-in-law, Tyler (Britney) Dobratz and their two children, Kip and Oaklyn; close friends, Karisa Schulze and Merrie Ziemer; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Tracy is preceded in death by her father, Charles Reinke; grandparents, Trumen and Betty Thorson and Matthew and Laverne Reinke; uncle and aunt William “Bill” and Karen Reinke.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham starting at 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

The family wishes to thank the ThedaCare Cancer Team in Appleton and ThedaCare At Home Hospice for their compassion and care. A sincere thank you to her daughter, Ashley, for her loving and compassionate care for many years.
