Travis Lee "Monkie" Calkins (Robinson), age 47, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday June 26, 2025, in Shawano. Travis was born on February 1, 1978, in Oshkosh to Debra Becker and Randy Robinson. In his free time, he enjoyed having cookouts, working on cars, being a roadie for his favorite band, "Thunder Country Band", watching football and stock car races, listening to music, Jelly Roll and Johnny Cash and being outdoors especially fishing. Travis loved spending time with his grandchildren and taking care of his mother. He made many memories with his retired K-9 dog, Remington. On March 28, 2025, Travis was united in marriage to soulmate, Deanna "Lovey" Jacques in Cecil. He was a member of the Lakeside Community Church in Algoma. Travis was wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncles, and friend; he will be deeply missed.

Travis is survived by his wife, Deanna; several children including, Courtney "Corky Sue" (Casey), Alexis "Pork Chop", Vera and Beau (Beau Travis "Bubby"); grandchildren, Marilyn, Sammie, Hazel, Oakly, Landyn, Brielle, Evelyn, Ollie, Maggie, Charlotte and Dylan; former wife, Elizabeth Thompson; parents, Ralph and Debra Calkins and Randy Robinson; and several brothers and sisters, including, Scott and Erika. He is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews including special nephew, Austin Becker, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Travis is preceded in death by his grandparents, Juanita and Kenneth Becker, Fred and Jeanette Calkins and Ginger and Dave Wright; niece, Brittany; and aunt and uncles, Bill and Mary Mcaloon and Kenneth Becker.

A funeral service for Travis will be held at 5:30 pm on Wednesday July 9, 2025, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Pastor Joe Bridger officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 pm until the time of service. After service celebration will be held at Cecil/Town of Washington Hall, food and drinks to follow. Bring positivity along with memories.
