Trilby Beauprey McIntosh, " Somehkowiakiw"- Smiling Lady, age 69, of Shawano, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021. Trilby was born on December 5, 1951 to the late Luke Beauprey, Sr. and Glenore "Betty" Boivin in Keshena. She was raised by her stepfather Leonard "Jack" Miller and her mother Betty. She was united in marriage to Glen McIntosh on July 16, 1993 in Issaquah, WA. Trilby's passion was her writing. She was a member of the Shawano Writers Group and worked at the Menominee Tribal News for some time. She gave many family eulogies and loved writing children's stories. She also promoted writing scholarships for kids living in the area. Trilby enjoyed her career as an insurance broker and she often went above and beyond for her clients. She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed.
Trilby is survived by: her husband Glen; her children, Andrea (Brandon) Toomey, of WA, Alexander "Maehkon Awaehsaeh" McIntosh, of Shawano; her grandchildren Phelan, Ryan, and Olivia; her siblings Linda (David) Boundy, of Wellsville NY, John (Cindy) Miller, of Gresham, Terry (Debbie) Miller, of Bowler, Mary (Wally) Miller, of Bowler; her sister-in-law Karen Beauprey; and her aunts and uncle Deanna Kenote, of Keshena and Doris (Ron) Delabrue, of Keshena. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her parents; her siblings Luke Beauprey, Jr., Jackie Miller, and Emmeretta (Norbert) Miller.
A funeral service for Trilby will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Neopit. Fr. Nonito Barra will be officiating. Visitation will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home on Tuesday May 4, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and then again at the church, on Wednesday from 9:00 am until the time of service.
