Troy Michael Anker, age 46 of Shawano, passed away unexpectedly October 10, 2018 at his home. Born August 7, 1972 in Shawano, he is the son of Donald and Marilyn (Lenning) Anker.  Troy graduated from Shawano High School in 1990 and married his high school sweetheart, Michelle Kobs on February 14, 1999.  Together they had five children.  Troy was a special and loveable guy who'd do anything to help his family and friends.  He had a great sense of humor and a sarcastic wit.  Troy was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing with his father, sons, brother-in-law and nephews.

Troy is survived by: his wife, Michelle; his parents, Donald and Marilyn Anker of Shawano; his children, Lisa Joelle of Appleton and Levi, Brandon, Ethan, Noah, and Naomi Anker of Shawano; five grandchildren, Layla, Landon, Tilly, Ryker, Harper as well as another on the way.  He is further survived by his sisters, Tammy (Steven) Pleshek and Teresa (Jude) Wachtel; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Irvin and Sylvia Anker and maternal grandparents Oden and Ann Lenning and Patsy Piechocki.

Funeral services for Troy will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Rev. Scott Ludford officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:30pm until the time of the service.
