Worked at Vlasic Foods International in Bonduel, WI for 7 years and the North Star Mohican Casino Resort in Bowler, WI for 24 years (notorious for her omelets) for which she officially retired in March of 2022. She was an avid gardener, loved her flowers, hummingbirds, Prime Rib from John's Corner Bar, berry picking of any kind and was a thrifty saver. Always up for a game of cards, her passion in her peak years revolved around Cribbage and in her later years ended with Three-Thirteen (3-13). You can always find her at the side of any county road in Wisconsin picking asparagus; which she could spot at least a mile away. When out-of-town family and friends visited, she was always the one to entertain with her specialty of various dishes that consisted of beef, chicken, and/or tofu in a homemade ginger sauce. Most noted for her jalapeno chicken, fried rice, dumplings, cabbage soup, rhubarb and blueberry pies. She valued her friendships, enjoyed her oriental daytime soap operas, and food network cooking shows.
