Obituary

Tyler T. Chance Schreiber, age 40, of Shawano, passed away unexpectedly due to injuries sustained from a UTV accident on Friday October 4, 2024. Tyler was born on August 7, 1984, in Antigo to Elizabeth "Betty" (Kleczka) Schreiber and the late Kenneth Schreiber. He graduated from Shawano High School in 2002. He first began truck driving, which he was introduced to by his father. Tyler from a very early age had a fascination with planes. Once he joined the RC airplane club, his love for remote control vehicles blossomed. From that passion, In 2007 he attended flight school at Delta Connection Academy. Tyler graduated with the class of 2008. He went on to work as commercial airline pilot and last worked at  Trans State Airlines. Recently he was the owner of a floor installation business. Tyler enjoyed grilling, cooking and hosting his family and friends when he could. In his free time, he enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, riding his Harley and side by side UTV. He was often accompanied by his furry companions, Knox and Boris, when he drove his UTV. He made frequent trips up to Hayman falls with his dogs and would test his RC trucks and their ability to drive over different terrains and test their limits.  Tyler was always working on something new and was an extremely creative person. He always had many projects in the works, from building RC trucks, airplanes, boats, and even a skid steer with his 3-D printer. He was especially proud when he a made track machine for ice fishing.  From large to small, if Tyler could think it, he could make it. He was a "MacGyver" with all of his projects. Tyler was a social man that was always making new friends. His love for life was inspiring to many and was a loving son, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed.

Tyler is survived by his mother, Betty; sisters, Tammy (Juan) Schreiber, Samantha Buckoski and Kylie Morgan Schreiber; brothers, Richard "Dicky" Schreiber, Kenneth "KJ" Schreiber, Jr., Jerry (Jamie) Schreiber, Shane Schreiber and Chad Lamberies.; significant other, Kieana Fischer; and his two dogs, black lab, Knox and French bulldog, Boris. He is further survived by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and other relatives. He is also survived by countless close friends

Tyler is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth; brother, Steven Wilson; and special cousin, Justin Kleczka.

A funeral service for Tyler will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday October 12, 2024, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Dick Menning officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday October 11, 2024, at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm then again on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of service.
