Obituary

Ursula Woloszczuk, age 92, died on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Evergreen Healthcare Center in Shawano. Ursula was born in Rauno, Germany on May 14, 1924, the daughter of the late Peter and Hedwig Stempniewicz.  In 1949, she was united in marriage to Dmytro Woloszczuk in Stuttgart, Germany.  He preceded her in death on August 25, 1987.  After the end of World War II, the couple moved to the United States, outside of Chicago.  In 1987, they moved to Bowler to what was once their summer home.  Ursula was a member of St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church in Gresham and enjoyed antiques, gardening and house plants.
She is survived by: two sons, Nicholas (Agnes) Woloszczuk of Downers Grove, IL and Peter Woloszczuk of Bowler; and one granddaughter, Sarah Woloszczuk.
Ursula was preceded in death by her husband, Dmytro; her parents; one brother and one sister.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, February 24, 2017 at St. Francis Solanus Catholic Cemetery in Gresham with Rev. Francis Zurbano officiating.
