Verda Ritchey, age 79 of Bonduel, formerly of Tennessee and Washington, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Verda was born on February 21, 1939 in Washington, daughter of the late Jack and Theada (Gregory) Ritchey. Verda enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and camping.  She was a "people person" and never missed a chance to do things with her friends.  Verda loved her family dearly and cherished the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren.

Verda is survived by: two sons, Curtis (Brenda) Myers of Bonduel and Michael (Melody) Myers of Texas; grandchildren, Scott Myers, Shannon Myers, Amber Myers, Dakota Myers, Adam Hughes, Robert Hughes, Corrina (Emery) Sputesman, Christina (John) Pursey, Cynthia Myers, Justin (Candie) Myers, Cheyenne Myers, and Kayla Jones; great grandchildren, Mariah, Leighanna, Trinity, Michael, Damian, Keller, Bay, Hixon, Kiera, Camden, Aiden, Shandon, Chloe, Ross, Zachary, and Emily; and a sister Jackie Kay Ritchie. She is further survived by many extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Cindy Myers.

A memorial service will be held in Tennessee at a later date.
