Vernon Otto Neuman, age 83 of Gresham, formerly of Eden, died on Monday, December 17, 2018 in Shawano. Born in Milwaukee, on April 24, 1935, he is the son of the late Hugo and Martha (Schneider) Neuman.  Vernon spent his early years in Milwaukee.  On February 17, 1955, in Illinois, Vernon married his beloved wife, Patricia Radman.  He was an expert office machine repairman, as well as a talented organist and pianist.  Vernon had an unshakable faith and enjoyed religious music.  The couple are members of St. Martin Lutheran Church in the Town of Belle Plaine and have enjoyed raising Dalmatians throughout their marriage.  He was an avid Ham Radio operator (MARS).

Vernon is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Patricia; their children, Curtis W. (Susie) Neuman of FL, Carrie (Randy) Wendling of Mayville, Christopher M. (Sue) Neuman of Oostburg, Corey W. (Judy) Neuman of FL, Cynthia L. (fiancé, David Walsh) Bonincontri of Eden; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Merle and his wife, Carol; a grandson, Michael Wendling, who was killed in active duty; and son-in-law, Joseph Bonincontri.

A memorial service for Vernon will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at St. Martin Lutheran Church in the Town of Belle Plaine with Rev. Kurt Kluge officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
