Veronica A. (Owen) Kasper Lewis, age 91, of Clintonville, passed away on April 6, 2015 in Shawano. Veronica was born on April 15, 1923 in Shawano, the daughter of the late Elmer and Lelah (Meverden) Owen. Veronica was united in marriage to August Kasper in Shawano. They moved to Illinois and he preceded her in death in 1957. She was united in marriage to William Lewis in Illinois and he preceded her in death 1989. She then returned to Shawano and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the V.F.W. Auxiliary and enjoyed playing bingo. Veronica is survived by her four sons, Tom (Anita) Kasper of Gordon, WI, Doug Kasper of Illinois, James Kasper of Clintonville and Tony (Dena) Kasper of Illinois as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her brothers and sisters, Mildred Antos of Embarrass, Mary Rizzo of Arizona, Delbert (Norma) Owen of Clintonville and Naomi (Ronald) Yokes of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her first husband, August Kasper in 1957, her second husband in 1989, two daughters, Carolyn Kasper and Patricia Kasper Rozhon, as well as 12 brothers and sisters. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Luke Ferris officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
