Viola E. Muck, age 89, of the Town of Washington, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020. Viola was born on August 10, 1930, to the late Robert and Helen (Schmidt) Polzin of Cecil. She attended Immanuel Lutheran Grade School and graduated from Bonduel High School in 1949. Viola was united in marriage to Bernard Muck of Pulaski in 1951 at Immanuel Lutheran Church White Clay Lake, Cecil. They lived in the township of Washington where they farmed and were blessed with four children. Viola was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, LWML, and Ladies Aid. Viola enjoyed quilting with her church group and attending bible study. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting, and was known for her decorative cakes.

Viola is survived by her children, Roy (Margie) Muck, Ronald Muck, and Dennis Muck all of Cecil; son-in-law, Alan Wichlacz of Howard; grandchildren, Amanda (Brandon) Smith, Jason (Emily) Muck, Jennifer (Dylan) Siolka, Kristine Muck, and Justin Wichlacz; great-grandchildren, Cheyann and Deanna Smith and Ethan Siolka; sisters, Lillian Heller and Evelyn Homan; brother-in-law, Orville Muck; as well as other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bernard; daughter, Kaye Wichlacz; parents, Robert and Helen Polzin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Melvin (Orpha) Muck, Floyd (Helen) Muck, Robert (Margie) Muck, Elwood (Elva) Magee, and Ione Muck.

A funeral service for Viola will be held at noon on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, White Clay Lake with Rev. Steven Pockat officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be no funeral luncheon held and services will be broadcast over the radio on 107.7 FM in the church parking lot for those wishing to remain outside.
