Obituary

Violett Sylvia Busch, age 93, of Shawano, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 in Appleton. Born on June 3, 1923 in Oconto County, she is the daughter of the late Michael and Saraphine (Ratz) Eggert. On August 15, 1942, Violett was united in marriage to Martin Busch at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel. Martin preceded her in death on April 28, 2013. They farmed near Bonduel for over 30 years before moving to Shawano in 1970. Violett was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping.

Violett is survived by: her three daughters, Dianne (Bob) Zuehlsdorf of Appleton, Donna (Edward) Sanders of OK, and JoAnn (Mark) Bergsbaken of Milton; seven grandchildren, Katie (David) Wroblewski, Andrew Zuehlsdorf, Craig (Shirree) Sanders, Scott Sanders, Lacy (Jason) Edwards, Chad (Erica) Bergsbaken, and Aaron Bergsbaken; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Kenny (Mavis) Eggert of Green Valley and one sister, Magdalene Heuer of Fond du Lac.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin; one brother, Donald (Shirley) Eggert, and three sisters, Altibel Reinke, Arthea (Leonard) Bonnin and Audrey (Luther) Busch.

Funeral services for Violett will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano with Rev. Ted Andrada officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held at church from 9:30 am until the time of the service.
