Virgil Herman Bohm, age 92, of Bonduel, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021. Virgil was born on February 9, 1929, to the late Arthur and Augusta (Beilfuss) Bohm in the town of Hartland. Virgil worked in Two Rivers briefly and then in Milwaukee at A.O. Smith in the automotive industry building frames for 32 years. On July 26, 1952, Virgil was united in marriage to Doris Joyce Bohlman in Eland.  Doris preceded him in death on July 5, 2003. Virgil moved back to the family farm in the Town of Hartland in 1983. He enjoyed reading, watching the Packers and Brewers, and making his daily trips to McDonald's for coffee and breakfast.  He also like playing cards, especially blackjack, and gambling at the casino.  He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing, and Shawano Lake always held a special place in his heart.  Virgil was a loving and caring man with a great sense of humor and a quick wit.  He will be deeply missed by his friends and family whom he loved deeply.

Virgil is survived by: his Fiancé Sue Haack; was the dear brother of, Marcia (Arthur) Bohm-Brodhagen and Suzanne Bohm-Kornely; and was deeply loved by his numerous nieces and nephews who proudly called him Uncle Virgil.  Virgil is further survived by other family members and numerous friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Bohm; his parents; siblings, Arbutus (Bob) Niles, Milo (Audrey) Bohm, and Eugene (Betty) Bohm; and a brother-in-law, John Kornely.

A memorial service for Virgil will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at the Swedberg Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel with Rev. Virgil Hansen officiating.  Inurnment will be in Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of the service.
