Virginia E. Jones, age 89, of Shawano, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015 in Belle Plaine. Virginia was born on January 23, 1926 in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Clara (Schneider) Lechmaier. Virginia was united in marriage to Orval E. Jones on June 18, 1949 in Waukegan, IL. Earl preceded her death on December 20, 1975. She moved to the Shawano area in 1966 and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Virginia is survived by 12 nieces and nephews, including special niece, Kathleen (Richard) Senft of Shawano. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orval, her parents and 2 sisters. Private memorial services were held at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano. Inurnment will be held on August 1, 2015 at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano.
