Warren "Jim" A. Born age 89, of Bonduel, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014 in Shawano. Born on September 14, 1924 in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Art Manthei and the late Violet Born. He was united in marriage to Margaret Kranning on February 19, 1949. They made their home in the Town of Washington for nine years and then moved to their farm in the Town of Hartland in 1960, where he resided for the rest of his life. Jim enjoyed spending time with dog "Keta", playing sheep head, reading his Bible, taking rides, and spending time with his grandchildren. Jim is survived by: his daughters, Jeannie Sadler, of Shawano, Joy (Ken) Seitler of Gillett; his son, Sheldon (Barb) Born of Bonduel; nine grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; a brother, Wayne (Janet) Manthie of Cecil; a sister, Sharon (Phill) Bennett of Sun Prairie. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel with the Rev. Timothy Shoup officiating. Visitation will be held at Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel on Monday, July 28 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and again Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.
