Warren Kenneth Wilber, Jr. age 54, of Keshena passed away on Friday March 6, 2026. Warren was born on October 16, 1971 in Appleton to Warren Wilber Sr., and the late Antionette “Tudy” (Waupoose) Wilber.
He was a graduate of the Menominee High School class of 1990. While in school he held a record for track and field for numerous years. Warren was inducted into one of the first Menominee High School Athletic Hall of Fame for his cross-country team of 1988. In his younger years, Warren was a competitive breakdancer. He was an avid bear and deer hunter. Warren was a member of SmokeyTown for quite some time. Warren took great pride in his work that he did as a construction worker. He enjoyed sharing the projects he was involved in. He will be remembered as a man who shared his knowledge with loving family and friends.
Warren was married to Jennifer “Nin” Metoxen on December 2, 2016 in Shawano. He is survived by his wife Jennifer; children, Kelsie (Dusty) Wilber, Kurtis Wilber, Marie Wilber, Warren (Channing) Wilber III, Cainen (Vere) Shooter; grandchildren, Wapan-Kemewan, Kenehsaeh, Aseniw, Ophelia, Daxton, Azayliah, Anthony Jr., Aria, Ezra. He is further survived by; siblings, Carrie Wilber, Tracy (Les) Wilber, Michele Wilber, Kala Wilber, Wayne Wilber, and Cheryl Lebakken; his father Warren Wilber Sr. mother-in-law Shirley Metoxen, brother-in-law Jesse (Mary) Metoxen; Godmother Rosemary Gengler; and Godchildren Corey Dixon, Jr. and Kay-Li Jo Corn. He is furthermore survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Warren is preceded in death by his mother, Tudy Wilber; father-in-law John Metoxen; Nephew Anthony and Godfather Robert Gengler.
A funeral service for Warren will be held on Wednesday March 11, 2026, at 11:00 am with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Visitation will begin at the Father David Barrett Hall at St. Michaels Catholic Church from 2:00 pm on Monday until the time of the service on Wednesday.
