IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Wayne "Chuck"
Robley
April 16, 1943 – February 9, 2025
Wayne (Chuck) Robley passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025, after a long battle with dementia. Remembered for his kindness and love of family, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Though the disease gradually took away his memories, the love and warmth he shared with family and friends remained steadfast.
Chuck was born on April 16, 1943, in Shawano to the late Cliff and Vi (Ehlert) Robley. Chuck graduated from Shawano High School in 1961. On April 28, 1973, Chuck was married to Terri Kroll in Bonduel. Chuck worked for many years at Heritage Hardwoods/Woodport Doors. Chuck had a love of sports and enjoyed umpiring and volleyball officiating for many years. He was an avid bowler and was inducted into the Bowling Hall of Fame and even threw a 300 game. Chuck was an active member of Divine Savior Lutheran Church and enjoyed volunteering at their food pantry. Chuck had a love for the outdoors which he shared with his children. Chuck enjoyed deer hunting in Mountain with his deer camp friends and enjoyed ice fishing on Shawano Lake and up north.
Chuck was an easy going, hard-working man who always had a smile on his face. He was appreciative of the little things in life.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Terri; daughter, Randi Rae (Jeff) Olson; son, Ryan (fiancé Hilary Ewoldt); grandchildren, Skylar, Blake and Ashby; brother, Larry Robley (Debbie); sister, Brenda Dillenburg; and sister-in-law, Kathy. He is further survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, Cliff and Vi Robley; and sister, Colleen.
Funeral services will be held at Divine Savior Lutheran Church on Saturday, February 22, 2025, with Pastor Joseph Neuberger officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am and services to occur at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested for the American Alzheimer's Association to further research to hopefully find a cure for this devastating disease.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to The Cottages Memory Care, Moments Hospice and Shawano Civic Center.
