Wendy Ann Metz, age 64, of Green Bay, passed away on Sunday November 7, 2021. She was born on July 4, 1957 in Green Bay, to Elaine (Lembcke) Welter and the late Charles Welter. She was united in marriage to Christopher Metz.  Wendy worked for most of her life as the church secretary for the Bethel Baptist Church in Green Bay and felt that her faith was her life's calling. She was always helpful to everyone she worked with and made it a priority to attend her bible study classes. Wendy's hobbies included reading books by her favorite author Janette Oke, bicycling on the East River Trail, camping with her family, and getting together for dinner dates with her friends.

Wendy is survived by: her mother Elaine Welter; her husband Chris Metz; her siblings Vicki (Jim) Reed, Mark (Julie) Welter, Matthew (Pam) Welter, Shirley (John) Jauquet, and Carl (Nanni) Welter. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Charles.
