Wendy F. Waubanascum, age 60, passed away on Wednesday March 1, 2023, in Keshena. Wendy was born in Shawano on March 12, 1962, daughter of Edmond and the late Audrey (Waukau) Waubanascum. Wendy was a loving and outgoing woman with a great sense of humor. She was a great cook and made the best fry bread. Her family was very important to her, she loved them all dearly and cherished spending time with her grandchildren.

Wendy is survived by: her children, Joseph Sanapaw III, Jessie (Jason) Sanapaw-Waukau, Jennifer Cloud, James Cloud, and Tristen (Merle) Pamonicutt; her grandchildren, Joseph Ⅳ, Anfernee, Terrell (Adrienne), Jason Jr., Rainelle, Lena, Ti'Yanna, Kobe, Angelika, Gene III, Eliana, Adelynn, Alex, Maqenna, Taven, Temperance, Stori, Lakota, Taya, Merle, Tonia, and Wesley; two great-granddaughters, Luana and Lucinda; her father Edmond; siblings, Ron Brown, Edmond Waubanascum, Jr., Marilyn Waubanascum, Toni Waubanascum, Randy Waubanascum, Tracy Waubanascum, Clifford (Ramelda) Madosh III, Sheila (Kim) Madosh, Kerry (Denise) Madosh Sr., Dion (Rhonda) Madosh Sr., Shandy (Leslie) Madosh Sr., and Brandon (Stacy) Madosh. She is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews including special niece, Ramona (Kinney) Waubanascum as well as other relatives and friends.

Wendy is preceded in death by her mother Audrey; her sons Gene Cloud Jr. and Warren Wheelock in infancy; her siblings Shawn Waubanascum, Claudine Waubanascum, Dana Waubanascum, and a brother and sister in infancy.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Monday March 6, 2023, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, in Keshena with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Visitation will be held at the St. Michael Parish Hall beginning at noon on Saturday March 4, 2023, and continuing until the time of the mass on Monday.
