Willard E. Pieper, age 78, of Shawano, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2020. Willard was born on July 4, 1941, in Shawano to the late Adolph and Anna (Hess) Pieper. He graduated from Gresham High School in 1959.  Willard was united in marriage to LaVonne Hoppe in Gresham on February 16, 1963.  He was a machine operator for Twig's Beverage.  Willard loved hunting, fishing and bowling.  He was a member of St. Paul's Church – Stony Hill.

Willard is survived by: his wife, LaVonne of 57 years; children, Fay (Mike) Gloede of Clintonville, Carol (Harry) Olson of Janesville and Bryan (Connie Nelson) Pieper of Janesville; seven grandchildren, Steven, Tara, Tyler, Taylor, Amanda, Kimberly and Samantha; great granddaughter, Brittney and daughter in law, Ann Pieper. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and Anna.

Private family services were held for Willard.
