William D. Aderman, age 69 of Shawano, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born on March 20, 1943 in Shawano, he was the son of the late Milton and Claire (Tatreau) Aderman. After graduating from Shawano High School, Bill enlisted with the United States Marines to serve his country during the Vietnam War. After service Bill returned to the Shawano area where he owned and operated Aderman Carpentry. On September 16, 1967 he was united in marriage to Patricia D'Agostino in Bonduel. She preceded him in death on February 2, 1993. Bill was a member of the United Methodist Church and enjoyed bowling and playing cribbage. Bill is survived by: 2 daughters, Tina Aderman of Shawano, Cindy (Mike) Sortino of Bonduel; 4 grandchildren, Brandi, Dalton, Maxwell, Blake; and 4 siblings, Merrill (Pat) Aderman of Marinette, Lorene Mahler of Milwaukee, Daniel (Kay) Aderman of Dallas, TX and Nancy Gunderson of Chicago. Bill was preceded in death by: his wife, Patricia; his parents; a brother, Russell; and a brother-in-law, Bill Gunderson. Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with the Rev. Loretta Waegli officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by the Shawano American Legion Post #117 at the funeral home following the service. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano.
