William R. Andrzejewski, age 72, of the Town of Wescott, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014 at his home. Born on September 19, 1941 in Chicago, he was the son of the late Stanley and Mary (Zerebiny) Andrzejewski. After graduating from high school, William enlisted with the United States Navy and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. On May 30, 1964 he was united in marriage to Patricia Kroczka. In 1978 the couple moved to the Shawano area where William owned and operated Andrzejewski Heating and Air Conditioning. When not working, William enjoyed fishing, watching the eagles, going to the casino and using his ham radio. He also enjoyed vacationing in Hawaii and spending time with his family and beloved grandchildren. William was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano and the Shawano American Legion. William is survived by: his wife, Pat; a son, Robert Andrzejewski of Shawano; 2 daughters, Christine (David) Dobbs of Conover, Joanne (Joe) Neumeier of Shawano; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Geraldine (William) Barningham of GA. William was preceded in death by: his parents; and 3 brothers and sisters. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano with the Rev. Luke Ferris officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by the Shawano American Legion Post #117 at the church following the service.
