William Joseph De Puy, age 63, passed away at home on Saturday, December 24, 2022.  William was born on August 23, 1959, to the late George and JoAnn (Knapp) De Puy in Sterling, IL.  On February 2, 1980, William was united in marriage to Kathleen Mae Bohms in Rock Falls, IL. Kathy preceded him in death on September 25, 2022.  He lived in Illinois for several years before making Legend Lake his home for the last 19 years.  William enjoyed boating, fishing and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.

William is survived by: his children, Monique (Jason) Weidman and Teresa De Puy; four grandchildren, William and Jayden Weidman and Brooklynn and Madisyn Evans; and one brother, Barry (Jeanne) De Puy.  He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

William is preceded in death by: his wife, Kathy and parents.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date in Illinois.
