Obituary

William A. Doxtator, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022.  Bill was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on January 13, 1936, son of the late William and Ethel (Welch) Doxtator. After high school Bill served in the United States Army.  After his honorable discharge from the Army Bill worked for many years as an auto mechanic.  He loved music and was a talented musician.  He played keyboard as well as bass guitar, he played in numerous bands over the years.  Bill loved animals and always had a dog.  He was a member of the Stockbridge Bible Church.

Bill is survived by: his children, Scott Doxtator of Bowler, Rochelle Doxtator of Minnesota, and Shelly Rose Doxtator of Minnesota; a sister, Ann Doxtator of Bowler; and a brother, Daniel Doxtator of New Holstein.  He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Preceding Bill in death are his parents, a sister, Marcela, a brother, Marvin, and his former wife, Judy.

A funeral service for Bill will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at the Stockbridge Bible Church in Bowler, with Rev. Ernie Geeting officiating.  Military Rites will be conducted by Gresham American Legion Post #390 and Mohican Veterans. Burial will be in Stockbridge Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, from 4-8 pm and after 9:30 am at the church on Thursday until the time of the service.
