Obituary

William "Bill" Edward Rosin, age 76 of Shawano, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in Shawano. Bill was born in Shawano on April 27, 1941, the son of the late Edward and Pearl (Zueske) Rosin.  On May 10, 1969, he was united in marriage to Rita Marie Stronach.  She preceded him in death on July 21, 2015.  Bill served in the Army during the Vietnam era.  He was a member of the American Legion, Vietnam Vets., AmVets, served as past president of Allied Veterans, past secretary of Shawano Bowling Associating and was on the Board of Directors for the Shawano Rec. Department.  He helped to set up the Memorial Day Program as well as other programs for the veterans.  Bill worked at Zachow Creamery and enjoyed golfing and bowling.
Bill is survived by: two daughters, Amy (Stuart) Henning of Shawano and Robin (Mark Schreiber) Rosin of Green Bay and 5 grandchildren, Alex, Parker, Mercedes, Nick and Kaitlin.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita and granddaughter, Allison.
A memorial service for Bill will be held at 4:30 pm on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Mr. Richard Menning officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the combined Shawano veterans.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 3:00 pm until the time of the service.
