William J. Ejnik, age 78 of Gresham, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in Shawano. William was born in Brown County on September 20, 1940, the son of the late Walter and Harriett (Bahrwig) Ejnik.  On November 12, 1960, William was united in marriage to Moria Hussin in Suamico.  In 1970, the couple moved to the Gresham area where they owned and operated a dairy farm.  In his free time, William enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, softball and playing cards.

William is survived by: his wife, Moria; their four sons, Tom of Shawano, Robert (Annette) of Gresham, Steve (Trish) of Minnesota and John (Sara) of Whitewater; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.  He is further survived by two sisters, Marilyn VanLanen and Florence Mulloy both of Green Bay; and one sister-in-law, Diane Ejnik of Suamico.

He was preceded in death by: two great-grandchildren, Lexus and Braxton; his parents; and two brothers, Tom and Gerald.

A memorial service for William will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham with Fr. David Barrett officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from noon until the time of the service.
