William Louis "Bill" Erdman, age 75 of the Town of Pella, Clintonville, WI, died on Saturday, December 26, 2015. Born on October 6, 1940, he is the son of the late Louis and Rose (Schultz) Erdman. Bill was a graduate of Shawano High School. He worked for Dey's Construction and later Appleton Coated Paper. While working as an electrician for Ellison Electric in Shawano, he attended tech school. Following that, he worked for 3-D Fire Apparatus/American LaFrance as a parts manager and later as a firetruck electrician. On February 10, 1979, Bill was united in marriage to Lynn Ann Engelhardt at St. James Lutheran Church. Bill lived in Shawano most of his life, until he and Lynn moved to rural Clintonville in 2014. He retired in 2005 and enjoyed spending time with family and friends and helping out any neighbors in need. He loved driving "out west" on vacations, especially Montana, and playing Sheepshead every weekend with his friends for many years. Bill was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dogs, Max or Gus constantly at his side. He spent many hours working in the woods and taking the four-wheeler for a spin. He loved gardening and sharing his produce and flowers with his family, friends and neighbors. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Bill was a member of the Shawano American Legion. He generously donated to several veteran's organizations each year and attended many memorial parades and services with a tear in his eye every time. A true believer, Bill never strayed from the Lord through all of his trials, remaining faithful to the end.
Bill is survived by his wife, Lynn; his daughter, Casey R. of Appleton; and his son, Todd M. of Shawano.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gerald Erdman.
