Obituary

(Please note - the date of death for Bill is incorrect in the heading. This was done so that he would be listed with the current services, as they are listed by date of death. We apologize for any confusion ~Swedberg Funeral Home) Dear Dad, It's important that you know how much we all love and miss you. Letting go the last few weeks has been the hardest thing for us all. We are so proud of the man and father that you have been to us. You taught us kindness and compassion for others and helped guide us to fulfill our dreams. We know you loved us and did your best to help us learn how to be the best possible people in this world. We look back on our childhood and remember the giving man that you were; proud of our Dad who served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. After you left, Mom was presented with the American flag on behalf of President Obama to commemorate that service. Also the years you volunteered in our community with the Cub Scouts as well as with Junior Achievement. We so enjoyed going to watch you play softball for Barber-Greene during your 30+ years with the company. You were a light in the many lives that you touched; even the stranger that you passed on the street was drawn to your wit and conversation. We love you Dad, and our world will never be the same without you here with us.
