William H. "Bill" Greenough, Jr., age 86 of Shawano, passed away at home on June 29, 2019. Bill was born on October 28, 1932, in Galveston, Texas to the late William H. and Hermilia C. (Torres) Greenough, Sr. Upon graduation, he served his country in the United States Navy for four years. On February 4, 1961, Bill was united in marriage to Jane Lynn, in Galveston, at the First Presbyterian Church. During their life together, Bill and Jane searched to find their home in the Galveston Seventh-Day Adventist Church. His devotion to the church led him to become the Head Deacon of the church for many years, before serving as the Head Elder. Jane preceded Bill in death, after 42 years of marriage, on January 19, 2003. Bill moved to Shawano in 2006, where he became a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

He is survived by: his daughter, Christina Allen of Shawano; his son, Michael (Janice) Greenough of Fredericksburg, Virginia; three grandchildren, Leah, Jodi, and Samantha; two great-grandchildren, Neko and Luke; his brother, George (Kathy) Greenough; his sister, Sarah Robinson; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane and his parents.

Private family services will be held.
