William J. Moede, Jr., age 93, passed away at his home on Sunday, October 9, 2022, in Gresham. He was born on November 10, 1928, to the late William C. and Oleyna (Miller) Moede in Red Springs. William was a Mohican veteran in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Marian Knoke on April 19, 1952 in Gresham. She preceded him in death in 2021. William was a go-to handyman who specialized in logging equipment. He was a proud former member of the Stockbridge Munsee Tribal Council. William enjoyed hunting, being outdoors and traveling. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his children, William (Mary) Moede, Lori Burr, Steve Moede, Kay (Jeff) Hansen, Lisa (Rick) Prellwitz, Jason (Lona) Moede; son-in-law, Kenneth (Mary) Kallin; and brothers and sisters, Jerry Moede, Joanne Welk, Ruth Eggert, Larry Moede, Bert Moede, and Merle "Butch" Moede. He is further survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

William is preceded in death by his wife, Marian; daughters, Michelle Kallin, and Christy Moede; and brothers and sisters, Allen "Wamp" Moede, Joyce Schultz, Harold Moede, Betty Moede and Guy Moede.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah.
