Obituary

William Edward Schoenfeld, age 62, of Shawano, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at his home. Bill was born on August 20, 1954 in Shawano, the son of the late James and Delores (Montour) Schoenfeld. On August 31, 1974, Bill was united in marriage to Shelby Born at Peace United Church of Christ in Shawano. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, ice fishing, archery, riding his ATV and woodworking. He loved his dog Pootie, but more than anything, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Shelby; their children, Billie Jo (Luke) Kotecki of Green Bay and Heather (Ben) Turrell of Chilton; and 10 grandchildren, Chloe and Ella Kotecki, James, Jonathon, Jonah, Jillian, Joel, Jacob, Johanna, and Jessica Turrell.

A memorial service for Bill will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Faith United Church in Gillett with Rev. John Laatsch officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 am until the time of the services.
