William Paul Smith, age 55, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022, in Green Bay. He was born on August 16, 1966, to the late Lillian Grignon in Shawano. William was named after his grandfather, William Grignon and raised by Dale Weber, Sr. He was employed as an iron worker in the ship building industry and currently worked for Country Villa Assisted Living in Freedom, WI.  William enjoyed outdoor activities.  William had a contagious laugh, always had a smile, and a big heart.  He was always down for an adventure.  Most of all he loved spending time with his family.  He was an awesome grandpa and father.

He is survived by his daughter, Crystal (Brandon) Smith; granddaughters, Monica and Angel; and brother and sisters, William "Ishie" (Lisa) Sonoda, Alma "Peggie" Korshak and Francine Harmon.  William is further survived by, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

William is preceded in death by his parents and brother and sister, Christian Smith and Bonnie Miller.

A traditional funeral will be held at N1256 Rainbow Road, Keshena.  Visitation will begin at 2 pm on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, until the time of procession to Rest Haven Cemetery at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 12, 2022. A fire has already been started.
