Yvonne Lois Labby, age 80 of Cecil, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at her home. Born on August 30, 1938 in Iola, she is the daughter of Doris L. (Bestul) Kitzman and the late Theodore R. Kitzman. In 1956, Yvonne graduated from Iola High School. Following graduation she moved to Milwaukee where she met her future husband Kenneth Labby and in July of 1957, she and Ken were united in marriage. The couple moved to Neenah and raised four sons. Ken preceded Yvonne in death in 1995. Yvonne was lucky to find love a second time and on May 15, 1999 she was united in marriage to LeRoy Rosciszewski at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Neenah. Yvonne worked for several years as a seamstress for Oshkosh B'Gosh. Fishing was always her passion and no water was off limits. She enjoyed many memorable fishing trips with Ken, LeRoy, and her boys. She also enjoyed playing slots at the casino, hunting, and traveling. Trips to Yellowstone and Arizona were among her favorites throughout the years. Yvonne was a caring woman who always made time for her family and friends. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Big Falls.
Yvonne is survived by: her husband, LeRoy; her mother, Doris Kitzman; four sons, Dan (Kristine) Labby of Shawano, Kevin (Nancy) Labby of Appleton, Kenneth (Karen Kizer) Labby of Neenah and Bryan (Kathy) Labby of Neenah; three step-daughters, Sandy (Randy) Hansen of Cecil, Ruthann Rojahn of Milwaukee and Mary (Jim) Rehn of Waukesha. She is further survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth W. Labby; her father, Theodore "Ted" Kitzman; and one son-in-law, Paul Rojahn.
A memorial service for Yvonne will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Rev. Janice Kuder officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:30 am until the time of the service.
